Kool Terrace Cast System consists of a Solid and Liquid components for both the top and bottom layers. The Solids are made into a paste with the Liquid catalyst by through mixing and then the mixture is poured onto the terrace surface and levelled to the required thickness. There is no need for any primer as this system is self priming, only cleanliness of the surface is to be ensured. The product sets within 3 to 6 hours depending on the ambient temperature and cures into a solid hard mass within 2 days of laying. For this two days the roof surface need to be protected from rain and manual walking. The suggested thicknesses for Base layer are 10 mm to 45 mm as per the site condition and performance requirements. The mixing ratio of Solid to Liquid catalyst for the Base layer is 2 : 1 . The suggested thicknesses for Top layer are 5 mm to 10 mm as per the site condition and performance requirements. The mixing ratio of Solid to Liquid catalyst for the Top layer is 5 : 1 . ECO – ROOF PLAST – 999 The top layer can be applied over the bottom layer either immediately by wet on wet method or applied after the initial set of the Base layer, which is after four hours as per the site condition,
convenience and plan of action. This product does not require any water curing but need to be protected from rain, direct sun, harsh wind and material movement for two days till the material cures and attains minimum strength and surface hardness. Optionally the above system can be coated with Poljo Terrassa S-777 after three to four days to get high SRI ( Solar Reflective Index ) value of above 100.
